WFO extends thank you to AAO for support, success of the 5th IOC in Chicago

In a recent letter to Ronald Moen, executive director of the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), WFO President Dr. Lee Graber and Secretary-General Dr. William DeKock expressed "heartfelt appreciation and elation" over the success of the 5th International Orthodontic Congress (IOC) and 2nd Meeting of the World Federation of Orthodontists (WFO) in May 2000 in Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A.

The letter expressed appreciation for the efforts of Dr. Mervin Graham, immediate past president of the AAO, the planning committee for the 100th AAO Annual Session, the 5th IOC and the 2nd Meeting of the WFO, the AAO Board of Trustees, and the AAO staff for "their genuine hospitality and great effort in making the international community of orthodontists feel at home" in Chicago.

Drs. Graber and DeKock noted that the "WFO's success is due in no small part to the support both philosophically and financially of the AAO and its members."
