Planning for the 6th International Orthodontic Congress continues
New Web site will soon be available for updates on the congress

The Comité d'Organisation du Congrés International d'Orthodontie (COCIO) has formed eight planning committees for the 6th International Orthodontic Congress (IOC). The sponsoring organizations - the WFO, the Société Française d'Orthopédie Dento-Faciale (SFODF), and the Syndicat des Spécialistes Français en Orthopédie Dento-Faciale (SSFODF) - will host the 6th IOC September 11-15, 2005, in Paris. This congress will stress the one world of orthodontics by featuring lecturers from the six regions of the world.

The eight planning committees are the Scientific Committee, the Financial Committee, the Communication Committee, the Dental Assistants Congress Committee, the Exhibitors Committee, the Social Events Committee, the Museums and Historical Exhibit Committee, and the Education, Legal and Environment Committee. The Scientific Committee met during the 77th Congress of the European Orthodontic Society in June 2001. All of the committees will convene in November 2001 in Paris.
