WFO membership exceeds 6,000 fellows

As of late May, the WFO has 6,294 fellows. The organization also has 88 affiliated organizations. The most recent addition to the affiliated organizations is the Greek Association of Orthodontic Study and Research.

"The growth of the WFO is testimony to the fact that membership benefits are increasing," said WFO President Dr. Lee Graber. "With the addition of the new WFO member directory, the first international directory listing solely orthodontic specialists, we will be able to improve communication among our members, as well as the transfer of their patients."

The member directory is available on the WFO Web site. For more details on this new member service, please refer to the article on page 1.

Dr. Graber also notes that the strength of the organization lies in its increasingly broad membership base.

"As we grow, we will be better able to address the mutual problems of our affiliated organizations and fellows," he said.
