Dr. André Horn of Paris recently made a $3,000 contribution to the American Association of Orthodontists Foundation's (AAOF) endowment campaign on behalf of the Société Française Orthopédie Dento-Faciale (SFODF). Dr. Horn, the president of the SFODF, also made an individual contribution. The AAOF, the charitable arm of the American Association of Orthodontists, invests the contributions to its endowment campaign. The AAOF uses the earnings from these investments to fund its annual Awards Program, which benefits the specialty of orthodontics, its practitioners and the patients it serves.

The planning committee for the upcoming III Congresso of the Associação Brasileira de Ortodontia recently met. Members of the planning committee include Dr. Lauro Bezerra, Dr. Caetano Gomes, Dr. Geraldo Junior, Dr. Niedje, Dr. Marilia Montenegro, Dr. Dione Do Valle, Dr. Risolene Carneiro and Dr. Sandra Cadena.
