Three orthodontic organizations join the WFO

The WFO has accepted three new affiliate organizations: the Sri Lanka Orthodontic Society, the European Federation of Orthodontists (FEO) and the Sudanese Orthodontic Society. To date, the WFO has 93 affiliate organizations worldwide.

“It has been exciting to see the positive influence that the World Federation of Orthodontists has had in formalizing national orthodontic associations within individual countries,” said Dr. Lee Graber, president of the WFO. “While membership may be limited in number in some of these organizations, the mutual goals of improvement in orthodontic education and provision of orthodontic health care are shared. The addition of FEO, a union of European orthodontic scientific societies, provides opportunities for more direct interaction between the WFO and another strong regional orthodontic association with goals common to the WFO.”
