Council Of The WFO One (1) member from each affiliated organization Forty (40) additional at-large members elected
on a pro-rata basis according to the number of
dues paying fellows from each affiliated organization
Major Duties Of The Council Of The WFO - Nominate and elect from among Council members, the President, Vice-President, and the five members of the Executive Committee. (Article 8.2.2.3)
- Determine the site of the next IOC after hearing the recommendation of the Executive Committee and consulting with members in the prospective host country. (Articles 8.2.2.7 and 13.1)
- Elect by majority vote the honorary members of the WFO. (Article 8.2.2.4)
- Approve the financial statements prepared by the Secretary-General. (Article 8.2.2.2)
Meetings Of The Council Of The WFO
- Council will meet at least once during the IOC and before the meeting of the General Assembly. (Article 8.1.4.3 and 8.2.3)
