7th IOC Scientific Programme Committee seeks lecturer nominations

In 2007, the Scientific Programme Committee (SPC) of the 7th International Orthodontic Congress (IOC) requested presidents of WFO affiliate organizations to nominate candidates to deliver the WFO Honorary Lecture or a Keynote Lecture. The 7th IOC will be held Feb. 6-9, 2010, in Sydney, Australia.

The honorary lecturer will lead off the 7th IOC Scientific Program with one lecture that is 90 minutes in length. There will be 35 keynote speakers who will each lead a themed session.

Many presidents have responded with their recommendations. The SPC will submit its final recommendations for the honorary lecturer to the WFO Executive Committee by March 2008. The Executive Committee will make the final selection when it convenes during the 6th Asian Pacific Orthodontic Conference March 28-30.

Any organization that still wishes to submit nominations may do so. However, it will be more difficult for the SPC to consider late nominations.
